2015-01-12 · I worked on OCR library 2 months back. I was amazed with its performance, and made two apps based on this which are on windows store. But now it seems not working I have downloaded full driver software to include IRIS OCR and see it in Programs Folder with HP applications. I still can't save a scanned document in any format other than a PDF. So I deleted IRIS OCR and re-downloaded it as of 11/30/13. Still the same problem. Maybe there is no problem and I simply do not know how to get OCR to function.

Seems like sometimes the API takes too long to respond or has some issue so the option in the context menu is missing.
